Bill’s passion for working with youth came from his parents, who have been foster parents for over 30 years and have adopted 8 of his 11 siblings through the child welfare system. Covenant House immediately meets the basic needs of youth experiencing homelessness through a nourishing meal, a shower, clean clothes, medical attention, and a safe place to sleep. In Hollywood, CHC’s Safe Haven shelter immediately provides for youths’ basic human needs and urgent medical care. Young people receive a nutritious meal, take a shower with new personal care products, receive new clothes, and sleep in a warm, safe bed.
