Whether they choose to visit the Nile River or marvel at the pyramids, guests are sure to find enjoyable activities to do. Your biggest challenge will be getting kids out of the massive pool and onto the side of the hotel with pyramid views—not a bad problem to have. After a couple nights, I'm convinced Egypt is one of the great family trips, and making life easy by staying in the shadow of the pyramids is an epic way to do it. The Moghul Room, which serves Indian food, is a longtime classic at the hotel. The spacious double room offers air conditioning, a mini-bar, as well as a private bathroom boasting a bath and a shower. This double room has a coffee machine, a dining area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a balcony. Overlooking the Great Pyramids of Giza, Marriott Mena House, Cairo is surrounded by 40 acres of green gardens and has a spa, fitness center and a pool. The rooms are decorated with handcrafted furniture. All accommodations at Marriott Mena House, Cairo have air conditioning and include luxurious fabrics, a seating area and LCD TV. Each room and suite has a spacious private bathroom with a bathrobe and slippers.

Wood latticework adorns the entrance, and gilded, intricate ceilings cover the lobby. The red carpeted stairway has iron railings and antique artwork. Some lounges and hallways have modern furnishings, and get a lot of natural light. Modern rooms have flat-screen TVs, minibars, and balconies with pyramid views. This double room's standout feature is the pool with a view.

Clearly, people plan ahead to nab the seats outdoors around the fire pits, with show-stopping views, but don't write off the interior either. My favorite dining experience was the buffet breakfast at the main, though, because I was able to sample a ton of different Egyptian dishes and accoutrements. I didn't bother going to Alfredo the Italian restaurant because… well, I eat plenty of pizza and pasta in New York (though I got the impression it's very popular). Just about everyone here is living out an item on their bucket list. Not just seeing the pyramids, but sleeping at this hotel specifically. I was struck by how truly international the crowd felt—at breakfast, tucking into Turkish coffee and fresh yogurt, I heard Japanese, French, Arabic, and English.

Poolside Drink Service

marriott mena house cairo

There's no competing with Mena House's location at the foot of the Giza pyramids—we're talking once-in-a-lifetime views guaranteed from many corners of the property. There is a small spa with treatment rooms that seemed like a welcome respite from the August sun outside. Book ahead though—I wasn't able to get in when I asked about an appointment on arrival (and that was during the low season). If you need convincing to use the gym, heads up that the treadmill and ellipticals on the far left have the pyramid views.

In 2007 and 2008 the hotel was renovated again. The historic Palace on the premises is currently under restoration and will not be open to visitors until further notice. All other areas of the hotel remain operational.

There are Deluxe Garden, Premier Pyramid, and Deluxe Pyramid rooms, and Garden, Executive, Deluxe, Montgomery, and Churchill Suites. The old palace wing rooms have antiques, Persian rugs, wood latticework, gilding, carpeting, and marble bathrooms with shower/tub combos and bidets. Garden wings have contemporary furniture, and modern bathrooms with shower/tub combos.

Character Dining on Disney Cruises: A Guide

disney cruise line food

This picture of the Breaded and Deep Fried Brie shows that sometimes the presentation isn’t great. However, it tastes really good and is one of the things I always look forward to ordering again. You may want to start your day in Triton’s on the Disney Wonder as it has a sit-down breakfast every morning. The one thing which is not so great about Tiana’s Place is that they do not seem to have set the sound levels correctly. So loud it can be really difficult to hear what your tablemates are saying.

Dinner (table service)

However, to ensure a seamless dining experience, guests are encouraged to communicate any food allergies or special dietary needs at the time of booking. This information is then shared with the onboard team to prepare and handle your meals with utmost care. There are several other dining options on the ship, like quick service spots, bars, and lounges. For quick service spots, you can check out Sweet on You, which has all kinds of sweet treats, Senses Juice Bar, which is a juice bar near the spa. Disney cruises are renowned for their magical character dining events, where the enchantment of Disney is served right at your table.

Senses Juice Bar

Essentially, you are having to choose between having your foodincluded and getting to eat at a variety of restaurants. Plus, you only get thesame servers if you eat in the same place each night. Each of the cruise ships has Rotational Dining, which means that guests rotate between three main restaurants (bringing their wait staff with them) for dinner during their cruise. If a restaurant is part of Rotational Dining, we’ll note that in its description. Other restaurants are available for different mealtimes or as alternatives to the Rotational Dining schedule. Cruisers looking for a spot to enjoy a meal at a leisurely pace will love Royal Palace.

Find a Disney Magic Cruise from $588

Other fun options include La Piazza onboard the Disney Fantasy, which has an incredible carousel-themed bar. On "Animation Magic" night (only on sailings of at least seven nights), diners contribute their own show, drawing characters that later appear on the screens interacting with real Disney characters. The only place you can get barbecue ribs on Castaway Cay is the Serenity Bay BBQ. I always think that the food tastes a bit better at this location. There isn’t much seating available here but I have never had a problem getting a table. Another great thing about Disney Cruise Lines is that Room Service is available 24 hours a day.

Disney Wish enhances the buffet experience with Marceline Market, a unique venue housing a series of themed food stations. Inspired by international marketplaces, the restaurant offers a wide range of international dishes, including Italian staples, Asian specialties, comfort food, and seafood specialties. At Cabanas, guests can start their day with a classic American breakfast featuring made-to-order omelets, scrambled eggs, sausages, and Mickey-shaped waffles.

The three-course lunch menu is a nice alternative if you're looking for a table-service lunch. Dinner here is one of the best on the ship, with dishes like beef and portobello mushroom ravioli, sea bass with Champagne-truffle vinaigrette, and pesto pasta with seared scallops. Of course, no birthday party is complete without dessert, and the menu is filled with options like creme brulee cheesecake and chocolate cake. Depending on which ship you're on, you have the chance to see three different shows inside Animator's Palate.

Disney Cruise Line is committed to offering a wide variety of culinary options that cater to passengers with food allergies and special diets. They understand the importance of providing delicious, safe meal options for all guests, regardless of dietary restrictions or preferences. Disney’s European cruises introduce guests to a wide range of culinary traditions, especially in the Mediterranean. In Italy, you might enjoy a classic pasta dish or a slice of authentic Neapolitan pizza. In Greece, sample the traditional moussaka or a gyro filled with succulent meat and fresh tzatziki.

Thankfully, aboard every Disney Cruise ship, you’ll find a buffet-style restaurants that’s open for breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner (as a table-service restaurant). As for lounges and bars, there are several for you to check out on the ship! Consult with a Disney travel agent for questions or assistance in deciding or booking your VIP character dining experiences. Character dining on Disney Cruises offers both included experiences and paid events with beloved Disney characters.

When you book with them, you can get up to $1,000 in Disney onboard credits (cash back!) to spend during your cruise. And that’s on top of getting you the lowest rates in the first place. Contact The Vacationeer now for a no-obligation, instant price quote. Their team of Disney enthusiasts is ready to help you plan and book your Disney Cruise Line vacation.

The dining room nods to artists and hand-drawn designs, and guests can watch an “innovative dinner show that celebrates the art of storytelling” while they eat. Thanks for reading and please feel free to lave a comment below if you have any question about Disney Cruise food and drink options, restaurants, and lounges. You can even bring one of these cups to the ice cream spot and get soft serve in a cup instead of a cone.

1923 (Disney Wish) – Step back in time and experience classic Hollywood glamour with a touch of Disney magic. This dining destination pays homage to the year when the legendary animation studio was founded in Southern California. With two stunning dining rooms named after the brothers who started it all – Walt and Roy, 1923 is a feast for the senses. Admire drawings, props, and other animation tools that depict the evolution of Disney animation from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Frozen II.

Here are all of the bars, lounges, and nightclubs you’ll find aboard each Disney Cruise ship. Onboard every Disney Cruise ship, you’ll find a collection of bars, lounges, and even nightclubs. Every single Disney Cruise ship offers complimentary room service 24 hours a day.

Preferred rotations can be requested at time of booking, but they're not guaranteed. The Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of specialty snack options beyond the included fare. Although they aren’t free, I think these unique treats they offer are worth the additional cost.

The Best Time to Cruise Alaska: A Month-by-Month Guide

best month to go on a cruise

In Australia, summer is the perfect season to enjoy the country's beautiful beaches, especially in the south near Sydney. However, if you plan to head north to destinations like northern Queensland, know that summer is that region's wet season. Most days are sunny, but you'll likely encounter an afternoon or evening storm. However, many travelers choose to cruise to Canada and New England specifically for the fall foliage.

Eastern Caribbean

However, if you love the cold and want to chase the aurora borealis in Norway, several lines offer northern lights itineraries in the winter months. Look to the shoulder season to find the best deals on Mediterranean cruises. The spring (April and May) and the fall (September and October) afford some of the best weather in the Mediterranean, with sunny days and comfortable temperatures. Though the busiest season for Mediterranean cruises is typically July and August, the temperatures can be unbearably hot (85 degrees and higher). If price is a major factor in choosing the perfect cruise travel date, you'll also want to look at cruises in the shoulder season, when fewer people are traveling and fares are typically lower.

Bahamas Weather in October: Rising Humidity During Hurricane Season

Windstar Cruises specializes in small ships carrying between 148 and 342 passengers each. The line calls them yachts, but the ships are structured more like tiny cruise ships with indoor lounges and communal dining rooms. However, if an upscale cruise experience is what you seek, Windstar Cruises can deliver. The line's seven-night Classic Caribbean itinerary aboard Wind Surf should be on your radar. As you might expect, the line caters heavily to families in every aspect of the cruise experience — from onboard attractions to family-friendly cabin configurations.

Caribbean Cruise in July or August: Chances of Rain and Lots of Families

The window for these types of cruisers is relatively narrow and include early spring and late fall, depending upon the specific itinerary. Cunard, famed for its ocean liners, runs regular transatlantic cruises throughout the year. Winter has some of the best prices; however, the weather is certainly not as warm sailing across the Atlantic at that time of the year.

Best time to cruise Northern Europe: June-August

best month to go on a cruise

Royal Caribbean, for instance, is only offering voyages in April, September, and October of 2024. On the other hand, you can find more sailings on Norwegian Cruise Line, who is sailing through the Panama Canal January, February, March, April, October, November, and December 2024. Summer months, especially December and January, are the highest in demand and are priced accordingly. March and April are the height of typhoon (hurricanes) season and can see some turbulent weather and oceans.

Best Caribbean cruise for couples: Holland America

June and July are the peak months to cruise Alaska, and the long summer days bring out the best of the region’s wildlife including bears, whales and sea otters. The shoulder seasons, when temperatures are warming up or cooling off, are a less busy time to cruise Australia and New Zealand and offer slightly lower fares. The height of the cruise season in Australia and New Zealand begins in early October and runs through the end of April because these months are spring and summer in the Southern Hemisphere. In the end, the best time to cruise may come down to where you can go for the right price when your schedule allows a vacation.

While the southern regions average in the 80s, peaking into the 90s in the summer and early fall, northern departures and ports can be cooler, especially in the winter months. Someone may one day invent detachable islands, but in the meantime vacationers should consider two major factors related to weather in planning a cruise. First is the annual Caribbean hurricane season and second is the temperature drop during the winter — especially for the sea water.

best month to go on a cruise

If you have an exterior room and are sensitive to light while sleeping, a sleeping mask will help you rest during these long days. You’ll also have more hours to look for wildlife from your room window or veranda. In the Lower 48, temperatures in June start to heat up, not so much in Alaska. There are exciting marine animals that you can see this early in the Alaskan springtime. A hat, gloves, and a winter coat would be a good idea to pack for an Alaskan cruise, especially if you depart in April, May, or September.

Cruising during hurricane season: What to know — and should you go? - The Points Guy

Cruising during hurricane season: What to know — and should you go?.

Even though there are festivities during the month (including Easter and the Peppercorn Ceremony), it's still early in the tourist season. April is one of the best months to sail to Bermuda as the temperatures are pleasant and in the 70s, and it's one of the driest months of the year, along with May. May and early June are great options for cruises to the archipelago, and you can expect highs in the low 80s by June.

When considering the best time to go on a cruise, there are multiple factors that have to be accounted for — namely the region you want to sail. The best time for a Caribbean cruise isn’t going to be the same as the best time for a northern Europe or Alaska voyage, for example. Other factors like cost, weather, and crowds might also be things you take into consideration. We breakdown the best time to go on a cruise based on the region as well as several different factors like price, weather, and crowds.

Summer Alaska cruises fill up quickly, so always book well in advance. You will find local asparagus on some menus in southeast towns later in the month, and fiddlehead season also begins in Alaska in May. However, most of Alaska's tastiest fruits and vegetables aren't on offer until later in the summer.

The peak season to view the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis is between late August and late April, which unfortunately doesn’t overlap much with the Alaskan cruise season. If the Northern Lights experience is high on your Alaska bucket list, consider a September cruise with more dark nighttime hours and increased solar activity. Just remember our earlier reminder that you are visiting the world’s largest temperate rainforest and enjoy the lush greenery. Not all cruise lines, however, offer voyages throughout the entire Panama Canal cruise season.

The high temperature in May in the capital city of Juneau, averages in the mid-50s, with lows in the 40s. Orca whales (which are actually members of the dolphin family) are a fairly common site on an Alaskan cruise. “Resident” orcas (who stay near shore and feed on fish) are easy to spot and fun to watch from the cruise ship or on a whale-watching excursion. Sailing on Norwegian's Pride of America will cost you at least $1,649 per person if you cruise in early December 2024. Summer 2024 sees an increase in pricing, with the average cost for an interior stateroom starting around $2,000 per person. Beyond its beaches, Bermuda has plenty to offer, including world class golf, historical settlements, festivals, and gourmet cuisine, so regardless of when you go, there is plenty to do.

July through September have the hottest temperatures, making it the ideal time to take advantage of swimming at the island’s famous pink sand beaches. It is also the perfect time to snorkel and dive on the numerous shipwrecks caught on reefs around the island. There are a lot of factors that determine the answer to this question. Price, crowds, weather, excursions, and activities are all variables to consider in deciding what time of year to travel. Also that month, thousands of runners from around the world descend on Oahu every second Sunday of December for the Honolulu Marathon.

Icon of the Seas Cruise Ships Royal Caribbean Cruises

The ship's unique glass dome has also created several Panoramic Ocean View cabins and Panoramic suites with floor-to-ceiling windows within the dome but no balconies. The theater will be the marquee attraction within the ship's Deck 15 AquaDome neighborhood — if the draw is not the dome itself. Fans of Royal Caribbean's Quantum-class ships will recognize some similarities to those ships' Two70 high-tech performance venue.

Lastly, the crown jewel of the sports deck is the Category 6 waterpark. Of course, I had to test all the slides for this Icon of the Seas cruise ship review. So, spending a day at sea with a drink from the Hideaway Bar and some wake views is pretty iconic. One neighborhood on Icon of the Seas to get an extensive upgrade is the pool deck.

I Went On The Biggest Cruise Ship In The World—Here's My Honest Review.

We had My Time Dining with the same waitstaff team during our three visits. Our waitress, Lyna, remembered our names and food preferences after just one visit visit. Meals were perfectly paced, with our three courses typically taking about 75 minutes. We were able to unpack all our clothes and gear for the week using a few of our trusted cruise cabin hacks. Still, we expected the cabin to feel more like Norwegian Prima’s balcony staterooms, which we would argue are the best for a contemporary cruise line. Finally, we dined with a friend at Izumi Sushi towards the end of our weeklong cruise.

This category (as Edge Veranda Infinity) debuted on Celebrity Cruises' EDGE-class ships. Guests on Icon of the Seas will be able to enjoy 14 new categories; these range from family options to standard rooms and new suites. With Icon of the Seas, families onboard will find new cabins that have additional space for accessibility within each category, location and amenities. Coastal Kitchen is available only to suite guests, with Sea class passengers only being able to dine here for dinner based on availability. The two-story venue will look directly into the AquaDome, offering for a unique dining experience that is unlike any other on the ship.

The team is given a set time limit to solve the secret plot hidden within the room. Destination elevators allow passengers to more efficiently move between decks for reduced crowding and better passenger flow. In front of the lifts, there are digital panels to select which deck to go to and which lift to take. Inside the elevators there are no panels/buttons to push, meaning fewer stops on every floor.

And that's barely scratching the surface of what the first-ever Icon Class ship has to offer. The creme de la creme of suites on board is the three-deck-high Ultimate Family Townhouse, an evolution of the Ultimate Family Suite that wowed guests on Oasis-class ships. In addition to kid and adult sleeping areas, this 1,772-square-foot top-level suite features an in-suite slide, a movie-viewing room, a karaoke machine and spacious indoor living spaces. It also offers 751 square feet of outdoor space divided among two balconies and a "backyard" with a pingpong table, outdoor seating and a white picket fence leading directly to all the Surfside neighborhood attractions.

There will also be a brand-new coffee bar in the AquaDome called Rye & Bean. This is the best place to go and get your caffiene kick while being mesmerized by the jaw-dropping ocean views. The redesigned, elegant three-story Main Dining Room is a staple. Each night, a new menu will be featured that will take guests on a culinary journey around the world over the course of their cruise.

Why are Royal Caribbean cruise ships always so big? Secret strategy explained

Others, including Family Feud and Majority Rules, were game shows we could not catch due to showtime conflicts. We did attend the Liar’s Club and the always-a-good-time Crazy Quest. Likewise, the Studio B ice rink found on several Royal Caribbean ships has been transformed into the new Absolute Zero. It does take a little searching to find this venue all the way aft on Deck 6. Cruisers must walk through a shop and then Playmakers to find the entrance.

Icon of the Seas Dining

The epic Ultimate Family Townhouse will even have a fenced-in "backyard" with direct access to the Surfside neighborhood. On Deck 6, Royal Caribbean has finally created a second-story Promenade that you can circle completely; on other ships, you run into dead ends. Giovanni's Italian Kitchen, the nautical-themed Schooner Bar and Boleros (a bar and lounge for Latin music and dancing) are here. Panoramic Suites are within the ship's iconic AquaDome structure, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

While there are a slew of restaurants, bars, pools and activities I didn’t cover, do not let that keep you from exploring even more things to do on Icon of the Seas. If you’ve learned all you need to and are ready to lock in your escape, check out all the best itineraries now available to book onboard this incredible cruise ship. While some Royal Caribbean ships have jazz clubs, Lou’s Jazz ‘n Blues on Deck 8 in Central Park is an entirely re-imagined space. With a sultry, smooth vibe and specialty cocktails like a hurricane and jazzy saz, it is a relaxing departure from other bars on the ship. Cruisers also have the option of enjoying the music inside the venue or outdoors in the Park. Families with little kids will have the Surfside Neighborhood on Deck 7 all to themselves.

The outdoor Basecamp Bar offers complimentary food plus premium a la carte-priced items and beverages. The venue is open between 11 am and 10 pm, while its bar for beverages opens at 9 am. Fast food choices include smash burgers, fried chicken nugget waffles with honey, crispy shrimp bao buns.

However, of all the dining on the ship, this was our least favorite. Liquefied natural gas was envisioned as the primary fuel for the ICON-class ships, which decreases CO2 (carbon dioxide) and completely eliminates soot particles, nitrogen oxide (NOX), and sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions. On Royal Caribbean's ICON ships was introduced fuel cell technology, which combined with hull air lubrication means the vessels are among the most fuel-efficient ever built. Each ICON-class ship has 23 galleys/kitchens (serving 27 dining venues) and 425 chefs.

We are fans of Asian cuisine, and the mix of small and large plates that we shared here were on point. The fried rice, dumplings, and udon noodles served up the pan-Asian flavors we have come to expect from this Royal Caribbean staple. I also tried the spicy crispy tuna roll which was not my favorite. Then, on the first evening of the inaugural cruise, we dined with friends at Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen. This venue is now found on the second level of the Royal Promenade on Icon of the Seas.

All cruisers need is socks and long pants, and the cruise line provides the rest. The Rise of Poseidon inflatable course is the biggest we’ve seen. Out in Central Park, there was often live music in the evenings as well. With either strings or an acoustic guitar, these soothing tunes provided a lovely backdrop as cruisers enjoyed the surroundings with a drink and good company. Boleros features Latin dance music and alternates between a duo or a band.

Carnival Cruise Line's Newest Ship Will Sail Out of Texas in 2023

carnival newest cruise ship

This Conquest-class cruise ship accommodates just under 3,000 guests. Carnival Sunshine was groundbreaking in the 1990s as the first-ever ship to exceed 100,000 gross tonnes in size. Modern cruise ships are now much larger, with Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Icon of the Seas, exceeding 250,000 gross tonnes.

NEXT-LEVEL FUN IS

Acquired from Costa Cruises where she sailed as Costa Venezia, this ship made her first voyage for Carnival on May 29, 2023. Although some Carnival cruise ships are pretty old, every ship undergoes an extensive dry dock refurbishment at least every five years. So even if you choose one of the oldest ships, you can rest assured that everything will be in good working order and looking good. With so many ships to choose from, it can be virtually impossible to remember which Carnival cruise ships are the newest and which are the older ones.

Carnival Cruise Ships

This was one of the best excursions we experienced from start to finish. We were able to visit Guy’s Pig & Anchor and walk right up and be seated. I love how this is complimentary aboard the Carnival Celebration.

Take a look at our full list of Carnival ships, listed from Newest to Oldest. Carnival Jubilee has the travel pros and press about as excited as cruise fans. New innovations join fan favorites across Carnival Jubilee™ which does its crowd-pleasing with all the awesome tricks of the fun trade. The ship is also Carnival's second vessel powered by cleaner-burning liquefied natural gas. Carnival Jubilee, the newest additional to the fleet, debuted in Galveston, Texas, in December 2023, accommodating 5,374 passengers and 1,257 crew members. It was voted Best New Cruise Ship of 2023 in Cruise Hive’s annual awards.

In terms of food and drinks, I had a strange experience at Chibang! Usually, they don't have meat in them, nor was meat listed as an ingredient on the menu. Combining noise with the annoyance of hawking alcohol, the roving waiters visited every table at Chibang! — the ship's hybrid Mexican-Asian restaurant — one night while I was having dinner there. Whenever somebody bought one, the waiter would demand that they yell "Shot, shot, shot!" before downing it.

Family Feud Live

BBQ, so we're building a Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse™ into this zone so it always tastes like summer here with freshly-smoked faves designed by Guy Fieri and original Parched Pig® beers brewed just feet away. If you're wondering where the pool and whirlpool are, we're so alike, you and us... And that's why we're sure you're gonna love The Watering Hole, a poolside bar we're building for aficionados of backyard-style relaxation. And for military folks — or folks who just want to raise a glass to them — please report to Heroes Tribute™ Lounge for great service. We know you guys like soft serve too, so we're throwing in a Swirls™ location — one of two! At Summer Landing, fun this cool is literally always in season.

Aft-View Extended Balcony

My kids slurped up pasta at Cucina del Capitano at lunch, and I heard others rave that the steakhouse was as good as I remember from other ships. The Excel-class ships solve that problem by spreading out the casual venues across multiple decks. Guy's Burger Joint is up on Deck 17 instead of by the midship pool; Big Chicken is outside the Lido Marketplace at the very back of Deck 16. Each is accompanied by a duo of soft-serve machines that get heavy use. However, I've been on older Carnival ships where all the casual venues are on the lido deck, and the area gets incredibly busy at lunchtime.

Both the Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras have this fantastic new stage in the new large atrium area of the ship. The area is stunningly beautiful and loaded with incredible technology. However, Carnival is trying to do full-production shows here, and the demand to see these shows far outweighs the available seats. On board, we attended several comedy shows in the Punchliner Comedy Club and the Limelight Lounge. They were also very approachable, shaking hands and taking pictures with guests as we exited the show. I thought this was wonderful and shows how touched guests were by seeing such talented entertainers live.

The ship has a nice-sized main pool on the Lido deck and two aft Infinity pools. The stateroom features USB ports on both sides of the bed and LED reading lamps. Overall, we enjoyed this stateroom during our cruise, and I am always impressed by the many details Carnival integrates into its stateroom design. I loved how the atrium area is now more incorporated into the daily flow of the ship, rather than an area you pass by to get somewhere else.

This ship is extra special with its unique dining and entertainment opportunities. If you don’t have a cruise aboard the Carnival Celebration, click here to keep up with the latest prices and deals. In Costa Maya, we chose to stay aboard the ship and enjoy everything it had to offer. Leading up to this port day, we hadn’t booked any excursions, so it was nice to have the ship tour ourselves while many of the ship’s guests were off the ship enjoying this port. If you haven’t done this before, you might be surprised how different the ship can be during these times.

Carnival Jubilee has standard North American 110-volt outlets in its cabins, as well as plenty of USB ports. In my balcony room, I had three standard outlets and four USB lightning ports by the vanity. There was also a USB port (non-lightning) on either side of the bed, just below the reading lamp. The third and fourth quarters occur in the Summer Landing zone; passengers can rope hay bales, participate in a hot wing-eating contest at Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse and follow it up with music from a live band.

It was transferred over from sister cruise line Costa Cruises and the ship’s homeport is Long Beach, California. It’s a Vista class ship and is themed after the Italian city of Florence. Here is a list of every Carnival cruise ship from newest to oldest that will be updated as new ships enter Carnival’s fleet. The ships range from the 70,000 gross ton Fantasy class to the 180,000 Excel class LNG powered cruise ships. Carnival Cruise Line currently has 27 cruise ships in service. Carnival has earned the title “America’s Cruise Line” as they sail from more U.S. ports than any other cruise line.
